UNU 2025 Scholarship Application for Exceptional High School Students
About Us: The purpose of Umuaka National Union, Inc. is to promote unity, values, progress and cultural affinity among its members and the rest of society. 
The Umuaka National Union shall award a $1,000 scholarship annually to one high school student who scores in the 95th percentile ranking and above on the SAT/ACT college preparatory examinations each year. In the event there is more than one student in a year, the money shall be shared equally between/among them. A Certificate of Achievement shall also be awarded to the student(s) by the Union. Students that win this scholarship will be recognized at the UNU National Convention. 
Criteria:
- Only children of members in good standing shall be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
 - Definition of good standing: “in good standing with his/her affiliate organization, provided he/she is not owing dues, levies, and a death levy of a deceased member for 45 days or more.”
 - Have taken either the SAT/ACT within the last one year.
 - Scored in the 95th percentile or higher in at least one section or overall.

- A copy of your ACT/SAT official score report
 - Name and email of UNU Local Affiliate President
 - Name of UNU local affiliate group
 - Name of Umuaka village(s) represented by your family
